Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Firco Nowack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoge Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Firco Nowack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Geoge Jack!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A big head kick from Nowack and Jack is sent sprawling to the canvas!


It looks like Geoge Jack has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Jack keeping moving, preventing Nowack from controlling successfully.
Jack working a defensive guard here.
Nowack stands up over Jack, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jack is looking to stand up but Nowack isn't so interested in that idea.
Nowack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jack on the ground.

Nowack is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jack is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jack has escaped and now he's on top!

Nowack is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jack is aware though and is defending well.
Nowack wants to stand and escape but Jack is having none of it.

Nowack had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jack defends it easily.
Jack is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Jack works over Nowack with some ground and pound from guard.

Jack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nowack swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jack not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Geoge Jack.
Nowack is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nowack misses with a few strikes there.
Nowack is looking to clinch.
Nowack moves to clinch but Jack breaks away

and Jack moves into the clinch.

Jack keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nowack's efforts to push away.

Nowack lands an elbow just above Jack 's eye.

Nowack is looking to clinch but Jack is avoiding it.

Nowack tries to stall but Jack uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Nowack is trying to push Jack away but Jack has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Nowack can't break the clinch.
Jack wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Nowack tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jack wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nowack creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Nowack lands with a kick to the temple. Jack shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nowack misses with a head kick.
Nowack is breathing heavily.
Jack shoots in for a takedown but Nowack shows good takedown defense.
Nowack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jack.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nowack instigates a clinch.
Knees to the body from Jack.

Nowack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Firco Nowack dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Jack manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nowack on his heels. He'll look to pass Nowack's guard now, I'm sure.

Jack is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Jack should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Jack throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nowack works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Nowack wants to sweep here but Jack controlling him for the moment.
Jack prevents Nowack from getting back to his feet.
Nowack throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Jack gets to his feet - Nowack follows without any prompting.
Firco Nowack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nowack tries to clinch up but Jack circles away and keeps his distance.
Firco Nowack is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jack tries a head kick but it misses.

Jack moves into the clinch.

Nowack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nowack moves into range and clinches up with Jack.
Nowack is looking to control Jack's arms but Jack gets an underhook and turns him. Now Nowack has his back to the cage.
Nowack lands a nice elbow.
Nowack trying to control the position but instead, Jack has worked for underhooks and has pushed Nowack into the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nowack looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Nowack's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Nowack throws a body kick that misses.
Nowack wants to clinch up but Jack keeps it at a distance.

Jack clinches up with Nowack and pushes him back against the cage.
Nowack tries to break free but Jack pushes him back against the cage.

Jack moves into range and clinches up with Nowack.

Nowack wants to clinch up but Jack keeps it at a distance.

Jack fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nowack to the ground. Jack is now in Nowack's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jack pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nowack is keeping the position for now.
Jack thows a big elbow that misses.
Jack lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Jack trying to control the position from guard on top but Nowack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nowack is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Nowack is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Jack content to stall in guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Geoge Jack was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jack throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Jack will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jack looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nowack is fending him off so far but Jack persists. Nope, Nowack circles away and we're back to standing.

Jack rushes Nowack and presses him up against the cage.

Jack gets control of Nowack's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jack will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jack is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Nowack keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jack's efforts to push away.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Nowack has Jack pressed against the cage, preventing Jack from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Jack manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Nowack gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Jack tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nowack paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jack looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nowack misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Firco Nowack is winning the standup battle so far.

Jack shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jack seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Jack postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Nowack to stand up.

Jack takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jack avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Nowack swats away the attempt to clinch by Jack.
Jack throws a sloppy head kick and Nowack moves out of range easily.
Jack circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nowack is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jack.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nowack lets loose with a powerful body kick. Jack will feel that in the morning.

Nowack lands a front kick.

Nowack lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Jack successfully pulls guard.
Nowack controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jack is trying to keep Nowack in close.
Nowack looking to pass the guard.
Nowack won't allow Jack to get back to his feet.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Firco Nowack wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Jack feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jack stays in close to Nowack's body and controls the position.

Jack stands up and waves to Nowack to follow him.
Nowack throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Jack forces Nowack back against the cage and clinches.

Jack shoots in for a takedown but Nowack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Firco Nowack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Geoge Jack.
Nowack tries to close the distance and clinch but Jack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nowack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jack jabs Nowack right on the nose. Nowack blinks but takes it well.
Jack avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jack fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Jack throws a head kick that Nowack semi-blocks.
Jack takes a kick to the side of the head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Firco Nowack showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Nowack has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
