Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damian Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes into the arena with Kasabian - Underdog blaring out of the sound system. Jacob Smith has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Miller sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Miller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Miller is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Smith has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Miller cracks Smith with a solid left hand.

Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Smith isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Miller stacks Smith on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Miller!
Smith looks gassed!
Miller lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Smith down.
Smith takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Miller lands a strong strike to the head of Smith. That's dazed him! Miller looking to finish here. Smith is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Miller lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
