Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gel Parsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulie Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gel Parsley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paulie Saint!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Parsley as he avoids it easily.

and Saint counters with a nice double leg into side control. Parsley won't be happy with that.
Saint is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Parsley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Parsley tries to lock up and control but Saint gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Parsley is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Paulie Saint showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Parsley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Parsley shoots in looking for a takedown. Saint tries to sprawl out of it but Parsley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saint manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Saint decides to pull guard.

Saint has his foot on Parsley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Parsley works his way back into a safe position though.
Parsley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Saint is proving hard to escape from.

Parsley pushes down on Saint's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Parsley wants to take a breather but Saint is having none of it.
Saint is looking for a sweep. Parsley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Parsley thows a huge punch but Saint dodges it nicely.

You can see the frustration on Saint's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Saint is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Paulie Saint comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Saint has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
