Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Villefort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Tonal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tonal has chosen The Motto as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonal on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Terry Tonal has been cut.
Villefort shoots in looking for a takedown. Tonal tries to sprawl out of it but Villefort keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tonal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Villefort looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tonal is fending him off so far but Villefort persists. Nope, Tonal circles away and we're back to standing.

Tonal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Villefort. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tonal is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Villefort decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tonal, up you get!

Tonal feints a jab promting Villefort to slip. Tonal then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Villefort slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Villefort drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
