The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vallee drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hawk wants to stand and escape but Vallee is having none of it.
Vallee tries to free his leg and advance position but Hawk is retaining full guard.
Vallee postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Vallee with a flurry of punches that miss.

Vallee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hawk manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vallee has Hawk in his guard.
