Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Ak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perseus Danae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danae has chosen Labyrinth - Thunder as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danae uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ak.
Ak lands a really nice looking cross but Danae seems unphased.

It looks like Perseus Danae has been cut.
Ak bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Danae leaves Ak with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ak goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Danae turns into him and now he's in Ak's guard.

Ak lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Danae!

Ak moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Danae has worked his arm free - good work by Danae!
Ak trying to control the action but Danae is working from the bottom.
Danae is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ak has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Danae parries the strikes from Ak easily there. Ak is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Danae to escape.

Ak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Danae manages to avoid it.

Ak gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Sergei Ak's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Ak takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Danae swivels and escapes.
Ak takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Danae thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ak if he has to take too many more of those.
No joy there for Danae, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jeez, Sergei Ak's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Ak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Crunch! Danae slams his shin into Ak's torso.
Ak rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Danae moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ak ducks right into an uppercut from Danae.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sergei Ak's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
