The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boroimhe avoids the body shot from Damascus.
Damascus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boroimhes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Boroimhe looks to score with a jab to the body but Damascus is just out of range.
Damascus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boroimhe.
Damascus lands with a kick to the ribs.
Boroimhe misses with a straight right.
Damascus cracks the inside of Boroimhe's front leg.
Damascus lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Damascus throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Boroimhe is breathing heavily.
Damascus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Damascus darts in and clinches Boroimhe up against the cage.

Anthony Damascus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boroimhe takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Damascus lands a leg kick that knocks Boroimhe off balance momentarily.
Damascus feints and then cracks Boroimhe's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boroimhe down.
Damascus buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Boroimhe takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Damascus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Boroimhe under the eye.

Damascus connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Damascus lands a big right hand that sends Boroimhe crashing to the mat! Damascus stays standing though and waves Boroimhe back to his feet!
Damascus fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Damascus uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Boroimhe has time to react.

Boroimhe is rocked!

Brian Boroimhe's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Boroimhe is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Damascus throws a nice inside leg kick.

Boroimhe sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Damascus lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Damascus rushes Boroimhe and presses him up against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Damascus takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
