The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hassan swings for the body but LeBlond moves out of range.
LeBlond throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hassan.
No luck for LeBlond with that takedown attempt.
Nice defenses there by LeBlond.
Hassan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
LeBlond throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hassan lands a nice shot that snaps LeBlond's head back.
LeBlond misses with a kick to the body.
LeBlond lands a nice looking body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

LeBlond throws a sloppy head kick and Hassan moves out of range easily.
LeBlond throws a push kick but Hassan slaps the foot to one side.
Hassan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The fighters circling - Hassan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
LeBlond fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hassan.
Fincent LeBlond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hassan looks to land a combination but LeBlond avoids it well.

Hassan has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by LeBlond.
Hassan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from LeBlond.
LeBlond scores with a head kick. Hassan tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Muhammad Hassan has been cut.
Hassan is breathing heavily.

LeBlond misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hassan throws a jab but it's blocked by LeBlond.
LeBlond keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hassan.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hassan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from LeBlond - the referee stops the clock and Hassan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says LeBlond. Hassan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Crunch! LeBlond slams his shin into Hassan's torso.
LeBlond chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hassan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by LeBlond. LeBlond obviously looking to wear him down.
Hassan moves out of range of the body kick.

LeBlond decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

LeBlond has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hassan has given up his back here. Will LeBlond look for the submission or keep pounding away?

LeBlond is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hassan with him. Hassan is trying to defend but LeBlond has an arm under the chin now! Hassan grimaces and is forced to tap out!
