The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mays momentarily.
Rose paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Mays thows a leg kick but Rose checks it
and Mays takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mays shoots and misses
and Rose counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rose moves away from the strike by Mays.
Rose lands a lovely overhand right.
