The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Hoi.

Rekdal throws a right hand that Hoi ducks under and follows up with a left that Hoi also avoids with ease.

It looks like Aloha Hoi has been cut.

Hoi gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hoi can't find room to land a body shot as Rekdal controls the action.

Rekdal blocks an elbow strike.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Rekdal breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hoi looking to score a takedown here. Rekdal is defending well but Hoi drives through and ends up in Rekdal's guard.
Rekdal wants to improve his position but instead Hoi has moved into half guard.
Rekdal is refusing to be controlled, as Hoi sits in half guard.

Rekdal is looking for a sweep. Hoi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rekdal tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Hoi manages to move to mount!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hoi landing strikes from the mount and Rekdal is in trouble!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aloha Hoi dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rekdal misses with a wild body shot.
Rekdal chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hoi can pounce on him.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hoi.
Rekdal takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rekdal throws a hook to the side of Hoi's head but Hoi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hoi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Aloha Hoi is winning the standup battle so far.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice jab there from Hoi.
That has opened up Thorbjorn Rekdal's cut even more.
Hoi throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hoi lands a jab to the head.
The cut above Thorbjorn Rekdal's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hoi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hoi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hoi scores with a spinning back kick!
Hoi feints and then cracks Rekdal's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rekdal down.
Rekdal takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hoi throws a quick head kick that knocks Rekdal silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Hoi is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Aloha Hoi!
