Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Also Zarathustra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Stackhouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zarathustra comes to the cage accompanied by I Against I. Stackhouse has chosen Every Time I Die - Roman Holiday as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarathustra takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stackhouse blocks the body kick.
Zarathustra throws a looping overhand right but Stackhouse ducks down to avoid it.
Stackhouse throws a shot from downtown. Zarathustra moves away and avoids it.
Stackhouse moves out of range of the leg kick from Zarathustra.
Zarathustra tries to move into range but Stackhouse moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Stackhouse wants to control but Zarathustra postures up.

Zarathustra wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stackhouse, who protects the arm well.
Zarathustra tries to move to mount but Stackhouse blocks the move with his legs.

Zarathustra is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Stackhouse still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Stackhouse has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Stackhouse takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Stackhouse stalling away here and it's allowed Zarathustra to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Zarathustra isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Stackhouse stacks Zarathustra on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Stackhouse!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zarathustra is not content to let Stackhouse control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Also Zarathustra will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Stackhouse takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stackhouse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zarathustra moves away.

Stackhouse closes the distance and clinches up with Zarathustra, looking for a takedown. Stackhouse pushes Zarathustra against the cage but Zarathustra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
