The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammil gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hammil's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hammil falls off balance throwing a combination
and Foster counters with a one-two to the body.

Hammil pushes Foster up against the cage in a clinch.

Foster tries to circle away but Hammil has him pinned against the cage.

Hammil breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Foster shoots in looking for a takedown but Hammil manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Foster's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The referee calls for Foster to work.
Hammil scores with a nice hook to the head.

Hammil breaks the clinch.

Foster shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Foster prevents Hammil from improving his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammil tries to get to full guard but Foster has control of the leg.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Foster looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Foster throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Foster dives in and grabs Hammil's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hammil pushes down on Foster's head and hops out.

Hammil shoots in and bounces Foster off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hammil distracts Foster with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hammil is in close to Foster's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hammil won't allow Foster to get back to his feet.

Hammil goes for a small jab and connects. Now Hammil goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Foster stumbles back but Hammil runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Foster to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Foster will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
