Mingle is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: SOS. Don Mingle has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Curtis Boutlier's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Curtis Boutlier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Mingle!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boutlier lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Boutlier.

It looks like Don Mingle has been cut.
Mingle with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boutlier to score with a decent uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boutlier closes the distance and clinches.
Mingle looking for a takedown.
Mingle drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boutlier gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mingle doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Boutlier is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Mingle drags the fight down to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Boutlier wanted to stand there but Mingle had control of the position.

Boutlier gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Boutlier cracks Mingle with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Boutlier lands the left hand.

That has opened up Don Mingle's cut even more.
Boutlier throws a nice looking combination but Mingle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boutlier scores with a three punch combo!
Mingle looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Boutlier pushes Mingle up against the cage in a clinch.
Boutlier wants to get back to striking at distance but Mingle won't allow it.

Mingle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boutlier bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mingle's head backwards.
Boutlier connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Mingle covering up! Boutlier comes in with a big uppercut and Mingle goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Curtis Boutlier!
