Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Lambert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lambert comes to the ring accompanied by Disturbed - Stricken. Franklin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Landslide by Fleetwood Mac kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lambert throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lambert ducks right into an uppercut from Franklin.
Lambert slips a jab and a cross from Franklin.
Lambert fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Franklin avoids it really well and circles away.
Lambert uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Franklin.
Franklin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lambert.
Franklin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lambert shoots in but Franklin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Franklin ducks under a wild hook from Lambert.
Franklin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Franklin scores with a hook to the body. Lambert takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Franklin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Franklin throws a lazy right hand but Lambert sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Franklin sizes up Lambert with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Lambert looks to land a left hand but Franklin moved out of range nicely.
Franklin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lamberts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Franklin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Franklin lands with a hook. Lambert tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Franklin throws a right and a left that Lambert avoids nicely.
Lambert throws a nice looking combination but Franklin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Good exchange - Franklin coming out on top.
Lambert takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Franklin tests Lambert's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Franklin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ben Franklin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Left hook, right uppercut from Franklin.
Franklin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lambert stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A lazy left from Franklin finds it's target.
Lambert swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice jab there from Franklin.
Lambert fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Lambert. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lambert is breathing heavily.
Franklin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Franklin lands a jab to the head.
Lambert takes a jab right on the kisser.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lambert. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Franklin lands a nice shot to the body.
Franklin jabs Lambert to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Lambert moves forwards but Franklin connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Franklin scores with a sloppy right hand. Lambert should have avoided that one.
Lambert takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Oooooh!!! Franklin has knocked Lambert down with a huge combo! Franklin steps away and waves a wobbly Lambert back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Lambert is rocked!
Franklin lands a nice shot to the body.
Oh Lambert is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Franklin dips to his left and cracks Lambert with an uppercut!
Lambert tries to move into range but Franklin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Lambert shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Franklin but Franklin pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lambert seems to have got his legs back now.

Franklin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lambert eats them both and turns towards Franklin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lambert on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Franklin throws a series of punches but Lambert avoids them all with ease.
Franklin misses with a two punch combination.
Lambert has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
