Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Juarez quickly recovers to half guard.
Silva wants to free his trapped foot but Juarez is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Silva is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Juarez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva is just content to waste time from the top position. Juarez takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Julio Juarez.
Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
