The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers is looking to clinch but Parker is avoiding it.
Rivers takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rivers is defended easily by Parker.

and Parker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Parker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Peter Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Rivers.
Parker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rivers misses with a leg kick
and Parker counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Rivers badly! He tries to strike back but Parker puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Rivers out cold! Oh man, Rivers will never hear the end of this one!

After the fight, Peter Parker was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
