Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hyabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Wattson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wattson has chosen Weapon Of Choice - Fatboy Slim as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyabusa tests Wattson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hyabusa throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wattson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wattson throws a jab but it's blocked by Hyabusa.

Hyabusa jabs Wattson right on the nose. Wattson blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Ron Wattson has been cut.
Wattson loads up on a big right hand but Hyabusa slips the punch.

Wattson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hyabusa on his heels. He'll look to pass Hyabusa's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Wattson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Wattson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hyabusa thows a body shot but no joy.
Hyabusa throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wattson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hyabusa throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Wattson's head.
Hyabusa lunges at Wattson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wattson's hand.
Hyabusa throws a nice looking combination but Wattson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A jab from Hyabusa finds it's way through Wattson's defenses.
Wattson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hyabusa as he avoids it easily.
Ryu Hyabusa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Wattson.
Hyabusa connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wattson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That has opened up Ron Wattson's cut even more.

Hyabusa connects with a looping right hand.
Wattson throws a right hand that Hyabusa ducks under and follows up with a left that Hyabusa also avoids with ease.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hyabusa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wattson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Wattson is rocked!

The cut above Ron Wattson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wattson walks straight into a right hand from Hyabusa - that's dropped him! Hyabusa jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Wattson from any more punishment! Wattson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ryu Hyabusa!
