Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julle Kuikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samba Mamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Julle Kuikka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Samba Mamba!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamba drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kuikka looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mamba wants to control from the top but Kuikka keeps moving.
Mamba pushes down on Kuikka's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mamba trying to control the pace.
Mamba is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kuikka is just riding it out for now. Mamba eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kuikka is defending against the submission attempts here by Mamba.

Mamba wants to control but Kuikka is keeping him busy.
Mamba seems to be working for a kimura but Kuikka defends the submission attempt.
Mamba is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mamba is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kuikka defends it well.
Mamba tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kuikka knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Kuikka moves into full guard.

Mamba advances to half guard.
Mamba is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kuikka tries to roll over but Mamba keeps him under control.

Kuikka is refusing to be controlled, as Mamba sits in half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kuikka strikes from the bottom but Mamba uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Mamba advances to full mount.
Kuikka wants to get back to his feet.
Mamba with shots to the head and body - Kuikka looks very uncomfortable down there.
Mamba looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samba Mamba dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kuikka bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mamba is trying to control Kuikka's posture but Kuikka avoids it.
Mamba is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kuikka is working for a kimura but Mamba is defending it quite comfortably.

Mamba gets full guard.
Mamba has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kuikka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Mamba thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Mamba avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Mamba is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kuikka is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mamba's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mamba's back!

You can see the frustration on Mamba's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Kuikka. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Mamba tries to escape the position.
Mamba breaks Kuikka's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Mamba throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kuikka utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kuikka manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mamba manages to get himself to full guard.
Kuikka has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mamba is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Kuikka frees his head nicely. Oh but Mamba has switched to an armbar! Kuikka is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
