Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silvester Szymanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Silvester Szymanski!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Szymanski pinned against the cage. Szymanski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Szymanski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

No joy there for Cartman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Szymanski shoots in looking for a takedown. Cartman tries to sprawl out of it but Szymanski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cartman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cartman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Szymanski's waist but Szymanski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cartman off to one side.

Szymanski is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cartman is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
