Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barbados Slim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Slim counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brown thinking.
Brown closes the distance but Slim moves to the side
enabling Slim to counter with a crisp jab.
Slim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Slim.
Brown moves in looking to clinch but Slim pushes him off.
Brown misses with a head kick.
Brown lands a head kick!
Slim misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Brown!
Brown wants to clinch
and Slim counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Brown clinches with his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown is trying to break the clinch but Slim has him pressed against the cage.

Slim wants to break free but Brown has control.
Slim is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Brown is defending well for now.
Brown on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A right handed body shot lands from Slim.
Brown is trying to stall.

Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Slim dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Brown tries to clinch up

and Slim counters with a single leg into guard. Brown didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Slim won't allow Brown to sweep him here.

Slim might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Slim trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Slim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Brown looking for a sweep. Not yet Brown, not yet.
Slim working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brown's head.
Slim looking to pass the guard.
Slim looking to sit in guard and control but Brown gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Slim is retaining full guard.

Slim pushes a forearm under Brown's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Brown is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
