Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maik Taison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lauri Puukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maik Taison had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Maik Taison has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puukko ducks under a wild hook from Taison.
Taison looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Taison lands a jab-cross combination.
Taison gets tackled into the cage by Puukko. Puukko maintains the clinch.
Puukko connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Maik Taison has been cut.
Puukko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Puukko thuds his right hand into Taison's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A looping hook to the body misses from Taison. Puukko does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fighters circling - Taison throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Puukko lands a high kick to the side of Taison's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Puukko dives into guard, looking to finish.
Taison is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Puukko postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Taison's head off the mat! Taison is out! He's out! Puukko jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
