Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Wellman Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wellman Junior is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: speakers on blast- the game. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Davis lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wellman Junior down.
Wellman Junior is trying to get back to half guard.

Davis wants to control but Wellman Junior is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wellman Junior is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Davis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wellman Junior.

Wellman Junior thows a huge punch but Davis dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wellman Junior covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Davis lands a shot to the body.
Wellman Junior is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Davis has got one arm under Wellman Junior's chin. This could be trouble... Wellman Junior trying to control the other hand but Davis gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Wellman Junior has tapped out! The fight is over!
