Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hernan Cortes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sloat Gresham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cortes's entrance music is Hard to see. A fine choice. Gresham has chosen Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Sloat Gresham!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gresham shoots and misses
and Cortes counters with a thumping low kick.
Cortes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gresham moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gresham is looking to clinch but Cortes is avoiding it.
Gresham fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cortes lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Cortes lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gresham backs up against the cage.
Cortes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gresham wants to clinch.
Cortes throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Cortes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gresham cracks Cortes with a good jab.
Cortes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hernan Cortes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sloat Gresham.
Gresham lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gresham tries to clinch up but Cortes circles away and keeps his distance.
Gresham delivers a nice body kick.

Cortes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gresham.

Cortes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gresham.
Gresham forces Cortes back against the cage and clinches.
Gresham blocks an uppercut.
Cortes working some nice short punches in the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cortes lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gresham backwards.
Gresham fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Cortes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hernan Cortes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gresham closes the distance but Cortes moves to the side
letting Cortes counter with a right hand.
Gresham looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gresham wants to clinch up but Cortes keeps it at a distance.
Cortes thows a leg kick but Gresham checks it
and Gresham cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cortes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gresham tries to clinch but Cortes moves out of range.
Gresham looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gresham tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cortes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Danga de danga de dang - Cortes scores with a four punch combination!
Gresham misses with a hook.
Cortes throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gresham.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cortes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Cortes misses with a head kick.
Gresham tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cortes swivels and escapes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cortes stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gresham is rocked!
Gresham misses with a double jab.
Gresham is still on wobbly legs! Can Cortes finish him?
Cortes circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gresham to the canvas! Gresham doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Cortes keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
