Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hector Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steven Walter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Walter!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Barbosa has a takedown stuffed.
Barbosa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Walter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Walter. Barbosa shrugs it off though.
Nice sprawl there from Walter as Barbosa shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Barbosa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walter misses with a double jab.
Walter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Barbosa fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Walter scores with a nice head shot.
Walter with a nice cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barbosa is defended easily by Walter.
Walter goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Hector Barbosa has been cut.
Walter with a hook.
Barbosa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walter but Walter pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walter drops Barbosa with a right and a left! Walter comes rushing in but Barbosa regains his composure and manages to keep Walter in guard.
Barbosa is rocked!
Barbosa is breathing heavily.
Walter decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Barbosa, up you get!
Oh Barbosa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Walter throws a quick head kick that knocks Barbosa silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Walter is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Steven Walter!
