The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cole closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cole lands in his opponent's guard.
Cole really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cole trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackson is on top in guard.
Jackson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cole's guard.
Cole looks like he's trying to stand up.
Cole controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Jackson wants to pass the guard but Cole is defending well.
Cole is looking to improve his position.

Jackson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jackson wants to pass to mount but Cole is defending the position.
Jackson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cole!
Cole is trying to escape the mount.

Jackson has control of Cole's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cole regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Cole is working to get back to half guard.

Cole has left one of his arms exposed and Jackson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Cole screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
