Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sub Zero!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense.
Zero throws the kick towards the body but Jackson avoids it.
Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zero manages to avoid it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zero.
Zero throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zero moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jackson tries to bum rush Zero with a series of wild strikes but Zero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zero throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jackson, as that shot connected.
Zero throws a series of punches but Jackson avoids them all with ease.
Zero ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sub Zero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zero closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jackson quickly recovers to half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Jackson is trying to maintain the position but Zero is very close to passing his half guard.
Zero trying to control from half guard but Jackson is working away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zero missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Jackson is controlling Zero's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zero thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.
Zero is keen to just control but Jackson is a slippery customer.

Jackson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jackson.
Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Zero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jackson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Zero tries to hold on but Jackson postures up.
Zero is squirming around, avoiding Jackson's attempts to control the action.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Zero wants to hold on but Jackson pushes him away.
Jackson landing strikes from the mount.
Jackson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Zero manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Zero is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackson pulls his head out easily.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jackson lands a nice short elbow.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zero keeps working.
Zero is trying to get back to full guard.
Zero is refusing to be controlled, as Jackson sits in half guard.
Jackson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zero's head.
Jackson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Zero wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.
Jackson lands with a punch from half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zero trying to get back to full guard but Jackson takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Zero wants to control but Jackson is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brandon Jackson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Jackson misses with a hook. Zero ducked under it nicely.
Zero misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jackson looks to land a left hand but Zero moved out of range nicely.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zero moves away.
Jackson swinging wildly here.

Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard.

Zero is trying to keep Jackson in close.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Zero is looking to sinch up a triangle. Jackson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Zero's body to avoid the submission. Zero has instead reached around Jackson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Zero arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Sub Zero!
Sub Zero retains his middleweight title!
A less than humble Sub Zero misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
