Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Semanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Medved (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viktor Medved has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Medved.
Semanov lands with an uppercut that bounces Medved off the cage and back into range.
Semanov lands a body shot.
Medved takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Semanov counters with a stiff right hand.
Medved is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ivan Semanov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Semanov scores with a sloppy right hand. Medved should have avoided that one.
Medved tries to move into range but Semanov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Medved walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Medved throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Semanov lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Semanov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Medved doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Medved seems to have recovered his senses.
Semanov scores with the left hand. Medved knows he should have avoided that one.

Semanov is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Medved will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Medved is not content to let Semanov control the position.
Semanov passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Medved!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Semanov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Semanov loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Medved scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Semanov land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Semanov stands and salutes the crowd.
