The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxo throws a leg kick
and Joseph counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Joseph shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Boxo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Joseph swings for the body but Boxo moves out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Joseph. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Joseph.

Joseph chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boxo can pounce on him.

Boxo's corner calls for a 1-2. Boxo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Joseph connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Boxo's hands.

Joseph is keen to just control but Boxo is a slippery customer.
Joseph looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Boxo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boxo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joseph swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Anthony Joseph's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
