Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torque throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Russo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That kick from Russo tenderised Torque's leg. Torque is trying to keep his angry face on.
A chopping leg kick lands by Russo.
Russo moves out of range of the body kick.
Russo sizes up Torque with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Russo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Torque throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Russo.
Torque lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Vinny Russo has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Russo misses with a body shot.
Russo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Torque looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Torque is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Russo asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Russo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Torque keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Russo grinds an elbow into Torque's temple.

Torque tries to buck Russo off but Russo is having none of it.
Torque is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Russo is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Russo breaks from Torque's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Oh Torque is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Russo lands a big shot to the head and Torque winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
