Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simon McBacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Sheffield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheffield has chosen New Model Army - Vagabonds as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by McBacon.
McBacon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice straight punches there by McBacon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McBacon.
McBacon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sheffield moves away.
Sheffield throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sheffield rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McBacon counters with a nice body kick.
Sheffield tries a head kick but it misses.
Sheffield lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Sheffield swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McBacon cracks Sheffield with an open hand slap.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McBacon.

McBacon connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Sheffield to the floor! McBacon dives in looking for the finish!

Sheffield is rocked!
Sheffield looks gassed!
Sheffield is looking for a sweep. McBacon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sheffield is still in real trouble! Can McBacon finish him?
Sheffield is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McBacon scores with a couple of nice shots.
Sheffield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McBacon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McBacon prevents Sheffield from standing back up.
McBacon seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
McBacon is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Sheffield is hurt! He's hurt bad - McBacon fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Sheffield from any more punishment! Congratulations to McBacon! Great finish!
