The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peralta avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice jab there from Sanchez.
Peralta swats away the attempt to clinch by Sanchez.
Sanchez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sanchez misses with a few strikes there.
Sanchez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Peralta sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Peralta misses the shot to the body.
Peralta misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sanchez on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Peralta connects with a high kick.
Sanchez walks into a straight right hand from Peralta.

Hugo Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch but Peralta swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oh Sanchez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peralta scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sanchez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sanchez tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Peralta makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sanchez is breathing heavily.

Peralta scores with a nice right hand.
Sanchez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Peralta. Peralta obviously looking to wear him down.
Peralta closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Sanchez! Peralta dives in looking to finish! Sanchez is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
