Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Condit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evin McDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carlos Condit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Evin McDougal!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougal on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
McDougal shoots in for a takedown but Condit shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McDougal closes the distance and clinches up with Condit, looking for a takedown. McDougal pushes Condit against the cage but Condit circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Condit lands a head kick. McDougal smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
McDougal takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Condit punishes McDougal's body with a nice straight punch.
Condit with a nice cross.
Condit scores with a body shot.
Condit lands a nice shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Condit digs a good hook to McDougal's body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Condit. McDougal shrugs it off though.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Condit!
Condit stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Condit wants it to stay on the feet.
Carlos Condit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evin McDougal.
Condit lands a jab-cross combination.
Condit cracks a nice hook into McDougal's ribs.
McDougal looks gassed!
McDougal on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Condit scores with a three punch combo!
Condit darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
McDougal takes one on the button.
No joy there for Condit, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Condit lands with a straight right. McDougal didn't see that one coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Condit throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McDougal stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McDougal has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Condit.

Condit gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McDougal to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Condit wants to get back to his feet but McDougal is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McDougal pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Condit is keeping the position for now.
Condit preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

McDougal drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McDougal jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McDougal prevents Condit from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McDougal passes Condit's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Condit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McDougal on the ground.

McDougal is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McDougal has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Condit defend it? McDougal steps over the head and cranks it - Condit is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for McDougal!
