The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moye shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
MacManus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Moye misses with a jab to the body
and Moye takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and MacManus counters with a series of strikes. Moye will be more careful next time no doubt.

MacManus dives in and scores a takedown into Moye's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Moye jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… MacManus is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by MacManus and Moye has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
