Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Rockside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jui Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rockside might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to m.o.v.e - Blast My Desire. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Rockside!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jui Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rockside steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jitsu.
Rockside cracks Jitsu with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jitsu misses with a series of wild punches.
Rockside throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rockside misses with a right hand
and Jitsu counters with a nice uppercut.
Rockside misses with a wild body shot.
Jitsu tries a head kick but it misses.
Jui Jitsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jitsu drops Rockside with a right and a left! Jitsu comes rushing in but Rockside regains his composure and manages to keep Jitsu in guard.


Rockside is rocked!
Jitsu is working Rockside over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Rockside is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jitsu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jitsu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jitsu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jitsu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Rockside has his foot on Jitsu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jitsu works his way back into a safe position though.
Rockside seems to have got his legs back now.

Rockside working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jitsu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jitsu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rockside looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jitsu is working Rockside over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rockside knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jitsu on the ground.
Jitsu wants to pass the guard but Rockside is keeping the position.
Jitsu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jitsu is looking to work some ground and pound but Rockside has wrist control.
Jitsu stands up over Rockside, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Rockside is looking for a triangle but Jitsu pushes his legs off easily.
Jitsu passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Rockside is looking for a sweep.
Rockside manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Rockside is breathing heavily.
Rockside tries to roll over but Jitsu keeps him under control.

Jitsu is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jitsu winds up and cracks Rockside with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rockside actively working from the bottom here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jitsu trying to control from half guard but Rockside is working away.
Rockside wants to improve his position but Jitsu is controlling well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jitsu connects with a nice short shot to Rockside's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rockside won't allow Jitsu to pass to mount.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Decent striking displayed by Jitsu there.
Jitsu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jitsu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jitsu scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rockside misses with a lunging right hand
and Jitsu counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jitsu connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Rockside! He's out on his feet! Jitsu rushes in and drops Rockside with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jui Jitsu!
