The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connors tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Connors takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Connors shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Celly as he avoids it easily.
Celly throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Connors has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Connors on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Celly bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Connors takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Celly sizes up Connors with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Celly ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Celly stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Celly scores with a sloppy right hand. Connors should have avoided that one.

Celly has managed to clinch.

Connors keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Celly's efforts to push away.
Connors tries to land a knee to the head but Celly blocks with his arms.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Connors. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Connors shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Celly but Celly pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Celly stuns Connors with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Celly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Connors manages to avoid it.
Connors dives in and grabs Celly's left leg, looking for a takedown. Celly pushes down on Connors's head and hops out.

Connors get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Connors stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Celly runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
