PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bo Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Could you be loved - Bob marley as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Jones.

Scott decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Scott is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Scott.

Jones is pressing down on Scott's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Scott!
Scott is looking to get to half guard.
Jones landing shots from mount.
Scott stops Jones from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Scott sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Jones is looking to advance position but Scott won't allow it.
Scott is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Scott lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Jones.

Scott is breathing heavily.

Jones wants to escape the position.

Scott is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jones knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jones for a finish.

Scott is cranking Jones's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Jones! He's tightened the choke and Jones is tapping out!
