The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Turochkin.

Mousasi dives in and scores a takedown into Turochkin's guard.
Mousasi controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Turochkin wants to stand but Mousasi is controlling the position.
Turochkin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Mousasi slips nicely into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mousasi is nestled in close to Turochkin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mousasi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Mousasi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mousasi is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Turochkin wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mousasi loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Turochkin scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mousasi land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mousasi stands and salutes the crowd.
