Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanbei Shimada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power's entrance music is Fabolous, 50cent, Mase - Breathe Remix. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Shimada's choice of entrance music: Party and Bullshit. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shimada does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Shimada with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Power to score with a decent uppercut.

Shimada is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Power's half guard.
Shimada has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
