Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chip Freedom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason McNeil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freedom's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Star Spangled Banner. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNeil shoots in but no luck this time.

McNeil drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Freedom is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McNeil wants to control but Freedom is keeping him busy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Freedom reaches up to try and control the position but McNeil seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Freedom rolls and tries to escape and now McNeil has his back!

That's time! Freedom's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

McNeil jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Freedom walks away with a smile on his face. McNeil gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jason McNeil has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

McNeil throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Freedom was covering up waiting for the punch and McNeil finishes the takedown easily into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McNeil accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Freedom can't keep his opponent in guard - McNeil advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
McNeil uses his free foot to push down on Freedom's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Freedom.

Jason McNeil is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
