Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liberius Beowulf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGrady comes to the cage accompanied by Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child. Bob McGrady has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beowulf swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Beowulf thows a body shot but no joy.
Beowulf showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McGrady.
McGrady checks a low kick from Beowulf.
Beowulf throws a head kick but McGrady moves out of range.
Beowulf ducks under a wild hook from McGrady.
Beowulf throws a looping overhand right but McGrady ducks down to avoid it.
Beowulf swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Beowulf looks for the body kick but McGrady saw that one coming.
Beowulf throws a head kick that misses.

McGrady shoots for a double leg takedown but Beowulf sprawls well. He's pushed McGrady's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

McGrady feints and then cracks Beowulf's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Beowulf down.
Bob McGrady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beowulf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

McGrady ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McGrady throws a front kick that sends Beowulf stumbling back into the cage.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Beowulf.
McGrady tries to land a leg kick but Beowulf saw it coming and moves away.
Beowulf feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McGrady's calf.

McGrady connects with a body shot that sends Beowulf's belly button to the back.
Beowulf throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Beowulf looks to land a left hand but McGrady moved out of range nicely.
Beowulf tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Beowulf avoids a kick to the body.
McGrady comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Beowulf motions for McGrady to come forward. Beowulf throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

A bone on bone clash there as McGrady blocks the leg kick.
McGrady misses with a body shot.
Beowulf misses with a looping right.
McGrady scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ground and pound from McGrady.
Beowulf is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McGrady scores with a couple of nice shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Liberius Beowulf has been cut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McGrady scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Beowulf to see if he's OK.
Beowulf tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but McGrady presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Liberius Beowulf's cut.
That's time! McGrady's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McGrady moves out of range as Beowulf strikes.
McGrady throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
McGrady throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice sprawl there from Beowulf as McGrady shoots in.
McGrady throws a push kick but Beowulf slaps the foot to one side.
Beowulf misses with a head kick.
Beowulf looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McGrady walks into a stiff left hand from Beowulf.
Beowulf throws a series of punches but McGrady avoids them all with ease.
Bob McGrady is winning the standup battle so far.
Beowulf walks forward, straight into a front kick from McGrady.
McGrady scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McGrady fails with the takedown.
McGrady shoots in and drives through. Beowulf sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob McGrady. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McGrady looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
McGrady seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beowulf does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Beowulf wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beowulf wants to control but McGrady is keeping busy.
Beowulf is holding on to half guard well.
Bob McGrady overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
McGrady uses his free foot to push down on Beowulf's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Beowulf.

The cut above Liberius Beowulf's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
McGrady is landing with some decent strikes but Beowulf is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Liberius Beowulf's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Liberius Beowulf's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bob McGrady!
A relieved looking Bob McGrady thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
