Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johan Du Rand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landry looks for a takedown but Du Rand sprawls well.
Du Rand scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Landry changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Du Rand tries to avoid it but Landry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Du Rand to the ground. Du Rand escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Du Rand tightens his grip and picks Landry up, before dumping him to the ground. Landry manages to land in guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Landry enables Du Rand to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Landry manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
