Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cup Coffee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Travis Barker!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coffee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barker.
Coffee tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Barker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A punch lands to the side of Barker 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Barker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Coffee's sensitive parts.
Barker throws a right hand that Coffee ducks under and follows up with a left that Coffee also avoids with ease.
Coffee fails with the takedown.
Barker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Coffee waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Barker.
Barker slips a straight right by Coffee.
Coffee throws a series of punches but Barker moves out of range.
Coffee wants to slow Barker down by chopping away at his legs.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Coffee.

Coffee throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Barker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Coffee throws a hook but Barker blocks it.
Barker takes one to the side of the head.
Coffee moves out of range of the body kick from Barker.
Coffee misses with a lunging right hand
and Barker makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Coffee really felt that one!

Coffee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barker swivels and escapes.

and Barker counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Coffee is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Coffee.
Barker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Coffee's hands.
Barker tries a head kick but it misses.
Coffee throws a lazy right hand but Barker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Barker lands a nice looking kick to the body. Coffee takes a step back to recover.
Coffee looks for a takedown but Barker sprawls well.
Coffee dodges the punch combination from Barker.
Cup Coffee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Barker bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Coffee's head.
Coffee lands a glancing blow to the side of Barker's head.
Coffee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looks like Cup Coffee has been cut.
Coffee throws a series of punches but Barker avoids them all with ease.
Coffee misses with a low kick.
Barker lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Barker.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Coffee shoots in for a takedown but Barker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Coffee sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Coffee. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Barker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Barker is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Barker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Barker throws a front kick that sends Coffee stumbling back into the cage.
Coffee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Coffee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Coffee will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Barker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Coffee tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Coffee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Barker throws a wild body kick that Coffee sees coming a mile off.

Travis Barker seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Barker buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Barker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Barker throws a sloppy head kick and Coffee moves out of range easily.
Coffee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barker was well out of range. Poor timing from Coffee.

Barker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Coffee does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Coffee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barker's waist but Barker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coffee off to one side.

Coffee takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Travis Barker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Barker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
