The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodson stuffs the takedown.
Brown shoots in and drives through. Dodson sprawls well.
Dodson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brown has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Dodson cracks Brown with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Dodson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Brown fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dodson sprawls well initially but Brown persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dodson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown.

Brown moves into full mount! Dodson won't be happy about that!

Horrible takedown by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Dodson which made him look bad.

Dodson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dodson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Dodson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dodson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

so Brown counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Brown drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dodson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dodson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dodson!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Brown regains half guard, as Dodson was trying to land strikes.

Antoine Dodson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Dodson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Brown wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dodson, who protects the arm well.
Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dodson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dodson bucks up and tries to throw Brown off but instead Brown has got his back!

Brown has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dodson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Brown seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Dodson's chin but Dodson turns very nicely into Brown's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Dodson.

Brown can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dodson controls the pace.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
