Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sjonnie Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dutch Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sjonnie Shadow!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow fails in his attempt to clinch.
Blaze throws a lazy right hand but Shadow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Shadow is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Blaze.
Blaze closes the distance and clinches.
Shadow changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Blaze fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Shadow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blaze paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blaze fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shadow shoots for a takedown but Blaze saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Shadow fails with the takedown
and Blaze counters with a three punch combo that has Shadow backing up. Shadow nods at Blaze to acknowledge the strikes.
Dutch Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sjonnie Shadow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blaze moves in looking to clinch but Shadow pushes him off.
Shadow takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Blaze falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shadow counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Blaze looking for a sweep. Not yet Blaze, not yet.
Shadow is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Shadow thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Shadow drops back looking for a leg! Blaze is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blaze manages to kick Shadow off! Shadow jumps back into Blaze's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shadow with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Shadow lands a couple of digs.
Blaze working a defensive guard here.
Shadow makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Shadow drops back looking for a leg! Blaze is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blaze manages to kick Shadow off! Shadow jumps back into Blaze's guard.

Shadow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blaze swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shadow chips away with some ground and pound.
Shadow pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blaze is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blaze knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shadow on the ground.
Shadow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shadow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Shadow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Shadow drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Shadow as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Blaze screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Shadow! Nice submission victory there!
