Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thom Sawyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sawyer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. RUSH - THOM SAWYER kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rich fails to land with a series of punches.
Thom Sawyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rich lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sawyer circles away quickly and effectively.
Sawyer shoots in looking for a takedown. Rich tries to sprawl out of it but Sawyer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rich manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
