Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Murtagh Hawke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Dixion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawke comes to the cage accompanied by Sleep Now In The Fire. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dixion throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dixion cracks Hawke with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Dixion presses Hawke against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Hawke is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Dixion lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hawke backwards.

Hawke drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dixion gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hawke tries to break the clinch but Dixion is controlling the position.

Hawke dives in and scores a takedown into Dixion's guard.

Dixion gets caught flat footed, as Hawke shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Dixion kicks Hawke off and gets to his feet.
Hawke closes the distance and clinches up with Dixion, looking for a takedown. Hawke pushes Dixion against the cage but Dixion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A left lands for Dixion.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dixion throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hawke's head.

Dixion throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hawke.
Hawke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dixion pinned against the cage. Dixion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hawke is breathing heavily.
Hawke walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Dixion keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hawke is looking to score with low kicks.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dixion. That's going to slow Hawke down.
Dixion lands a slapping body shot.
Hawke rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dixion counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Hawke gets tackled into the cage by Dixion. Dixion maintains the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dixion creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Dixion's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hawke looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dixion is fending him off so far but Hawke persists. Nope, Dixion circles away and we're back to standing.

Dixion has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hawke is trying to drag Dixion to the mat but Dixion just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hawke is rocked!
Dixion lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oh Hawke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dixion scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Dan Dixion is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dixion lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dixion.
Dixion turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dixion looks to land a combination. Hawke sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Dixion thuds his right hand into Hawke's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hawke looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dixion lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hawke backs up against the cage.

Hawke shoots for a double leg takedown but Dixion sprawls well. He's pushed Hawke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Dixion throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Hawke crashing down! Hawke tries to stagger back to his feet but Dixion just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Hawke asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
