Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Peezy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Szczevnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peezy comes to the cage accompanied by Pride Theme song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peezy looks to clinch

so Szczevnikov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Szczevnikov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Peezy wants to stand but Szczevnikov is controlling the position.

Szczevnikov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Peezy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Szczevnikov distracts Peezy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Szczevnikov passes Peezy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Szczevnikov is working for a submission of some sort.
Peezy trying to control but Szczevnikov postures up.
Szczevnikov is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Peezy defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Szczevnikov.
Peezy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Peezy is looking to improve his position but Szczevnikov isn't that keen on the idea.

Peezy is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Szczevnikov locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Peezy is forced to tap!
