Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gio Naza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is yes. Naza has chosen Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Naza 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Black is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Black connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Black lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Naza throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Naza tries to sprawl but Black drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Black manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Naza manages to get himself to full guard.
Naza controls Black momentarily but Black frees himself.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Black.

Naza on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Black lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Black.

Black looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Naza has picked Black up and slammed him! Black can't keep hold of the triangle and Naza manages to pass to side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Black here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Black is defended easily by Naza.
Naza walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The fight stays on the outside here - Black looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Black closes the distance and clinches up with Naza, looking for a takedown. Black pushes Naza against the cage but Naza circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Black. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Naza has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Black finds it's way round the side to connect with Naza's head.

Black throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Naza's waist but Naza gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Black off to one side.

Black feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Black has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
