PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Mrs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bloggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mr Mrs has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mr Mrs seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mrs throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bloggs counters with a stiff right hand.
Mrs goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Mrs wants to land a leg kick but Bloggs is out of range.
Mrs uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bloggs.
Bloggs swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bloggs clinches up against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Mrs misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mrs wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mrs misses with some punches.
Mrs is trying to force a seperation but Bloggs has the dominant position.
Mrs doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bloggs prevents a body shot from Mrs.
Mrs working aggressively here.
Bloggs wants to take the fight to the mat but Mrs manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bloggs wants to break the clinch but can't.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Mrs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bloggs takes a shot to the head.
Mrs lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Mrs lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Mrs throws a head punch that misses.
Mrs tries to work over Bloggs's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Mrs misses with a punch to the body.
Mrs misses with a short punch on the inside.
Mrs tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bloggs tries to pull guard but Mrs won't allow it.
Bloggs has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mrs after a bit of a struggle.
Mr Mrs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Bloggs.
Bloggs tries to score a body lock takedown but Mrs shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mrs has a couple of punches blocked by Bloggs.
Bloggs fails to pull guard.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bloggs.
Mrs working some nice short punches in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mrs goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mrs.
Mrs misses with a short punch on the inside.
Bloggs blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice body punch from Mrs.

Bloggs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mrs listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Bloggs looks gassed!
Bloggs moves out of range of the body kick from Mrs.
Bloggs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mrs as he jumps to the side.
