The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uniao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Valquez.
Uniao shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Valquez defends it nicely.

Uniao gets control of Valquez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Uniao will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
